The Black Bear character was made for the “Rzhevsky vs. Napoleon” film. Now it is popular on Gypsy parties like replacement for alive bear in gypsy bands. The Black bear character dances with gypsies, entertains guests at Maslenitsa (Shrovetide, Pancake carnival), Animal Party and other holidays. A small Black bear costume can go though everywhere where the giant inflatable Bear does not enter.
